Member Profiles
April 21st - 27th, 2024 has been designated National Volunteer Week, an opportunity to shine a light on the people and causes that inspire us to serve.
In that spirit, the members of Whitehouse Fire Company would like to shine a light to recognize the incredible dedication of a few of our members, and highlight just how special our members are that serve our great community.
Check back on this website, or our social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) as the week progresses to see additional member profiles!
Meet Nick Downing, Firefighter, Vice President, and 20 year member!
"Volunteering with the fire company brought me 35 best friends I didn’t know I wanted. The brotherhood/sisterhood the firehouse brings caught me off guard. I knew I would meet new people when I joined, but didn’t realize how close I would get to them. Over the last 20 years, they have seen me through the best times and the worst times of my life. I know that when I have a problem, they care and are there for me."
